How did your spray paint hold up on this (did it chip or wear off easily over time?). Thinking of buying a couple cheapo brass lamps at a thrift store but worried about long term durability of the paint! Would love your input.

Paint has held up fabulously...no chipping, no signs of wear. Spray paint is much more durable than many water based paints. You'd be suprised. Happy painting!
