Visitor.

Today we had a visitor.
I'm assuming Mr. rattlesnake was enjoying our golf game in the backyard for some time.
Then he had to go interrupt our game with a little rattle noise.
We told him he wasn't welcome.
He was banned from our Garden of Eden.

That's life in the desert.

Here I was complaining that we had snow today... snow means no rattlesnakes though. I don't know which I'd rather. happy friday! :)

That's scary!! Do your kids know enough to never touch a snake in Arizona? We're coming to Phoenix next week and now I'm freaked out I'm going to step on a snake or something! Yikes!

We get lots of snakes in our backyard here in Australia. Do you get a lot, or only occasionally? We live on two acres in a rural area and see different snakes here all the time, many of which are highly venomous. That's life in the bush for you!

Michelle, I am totally in love with your blog. I stumbled upon it last night through a link and I have been reading all morning! I find your posts simply hilarious and I can't get enough of all your DIY projects. You have such a good eye for great finds and I love how you give them NEW LIFE. I featured you on my blog because I am in love with your master bedroom transformation. I am just about to embark on reupholstering a 70's wingback chair myself and I found your posts quite helpful and inspiring! I will keep checking in on your exciting and FUN life! Great Job (fellow Arizonan, Mother and Designer)

I'm dying to know the source of the moisture in the picture...

A cup of water was thrown?

Sprinklers?

Rain?
