When I graduated from High School there was no question that college was my next step (from direction of my parents). Picking a major was daunting. I was supposed to make a decision about what I wanted to do with the rest of my life and at 18 years old I had no clue. So I chose Communications, a degree I could use in practically any field and I'm glad I did. However, if I knew then what I know now I probably would have picked interior design.
Westwood College now offers degrees in Interior Design (amongst other things). They have 17 locations in 6 states plus a huge offering of online programs. You can earn your Bachelor's degree by working from home.

I told you to pick interior design, but no you were 18 years old and wouldn't listen...
I love your blog. The ideas that you share are always fab.If you think you'd like to get a design degree go for it...but I don't think you really need it. In my book you've already earned it!
