First up is a very cool company called Ghost Nest.
Reid is the artist behind this genius idea. He can create anything you can dream up and make cabinet hardware out of it. You can also just check out his gallery of ideas. I chose "Bee's Honey Please".

Next up. Cutting Edge Stencils. My brilliant idea to stencil the ceiling was one of the hardest projects I've taken on yet. I started by trying to stencil the wall. Easy. Ceiling, that's another story. But after all said and done it was worth it.
They have a huge selection of new stencils. I adore this one and almost picked it but in the end I chose the Trellis Stencil and am very happy with it.
Last but not least, Dutch Boy Paint. Ugly truth be told, there was an ever so slight odor in my bathroom. All you who have potty training male toddlers know what I'm talking about. Scrubbing and scrubbing and scrubbing...still there. I swear since painting the bathroom with this paint I cannot smell a thing. No lie. This paint is called "Refresh" which has no VOC's (yay) and Arm & Hammer which is supposed to eliminate household odor (and it works...and I'm not being paid to say it).

the ceiling is stunning! i was wondering if it was wallpaper or paint - you did a great job.
Love the stencil. As much work as it must have been, it really came out beautifully.

I'm going to have to try that paint, I have some stencils and I'm not sure if I'll trying that anytime soon, too afraid, but once again you did a fabulous job.
We converted to no-VOC paints several years ago and I would never go back to conventional...SO worth the extra $$!! The make-over is stunning...you've got me thinking...!
question on using the stencil ... did you tape every time you moved it and did you have to wait until each section dried before moving?

I would wait until the paint dried then take the stencil down, reposition then re-tape. Hope that helps.
It really does look fantastic. I think you've inspired me on how I can pack some punch in my microscopic guest bathroom. Thank you!
As for smelly toddler bathrooms (not that I would admit that I have one too...) I recently discovered that oxiclean is the only way to get that smell out of my grout. Just mix it with water and pour all over the floor, let sit for 15 minutes, mop it up and you're fresh as can be.

Do you have an problem with them sticking?Just sometimes I have seen cabinets painted, and it just seems to never fully dry- like a stick feel...But maybe they didn't prime them right! I have some cabinets I have been contemplating painting, but get nervous I'll screw it all up! This is great!
The ceiling is absolutely gorgeous! I am so stealing this idea and using it in our bathroom!
