Change of heart.

How could I not be anything but delighted to have another boy when my life is filled with moments like this?

We have 5 sons. Ages 14-6. When I had my ultrasound that determined #3 was a he, I packed up all the little dresses & what ifs I had made & purchased & gave them to a friend. The world needs good, strong men & we were the ones who thought we could do it. And we can. Congrats on your sons. We are blessed.

Now imagine that same scene with a curly haired little girl tucked next to the littlest boy. And all the times they will protect her from "mean" friends. I'm still convinced you're having a girl...sorry...not gonna change my mind...lol...;)

I have a picture of my boys very similar to that. I have always believed that boys need brothers more than moms need daughters. Whatever you get, he/she will have one fabulous room! Can't wait to see what you come up with.

God knows exactly what we need in our lives and he also knows what this new litter person needs in their life. You have been chosen and he has been chosen for you. I have three sons and I know that God knew exactly what he was doing.Kathysue

I have 3 sons and with the last one I had sort of hoped for a girl but even before we had the ultrasound I just knew and I feel so blessed now, girls are amazing but I love being surrounded by boys that tell me daily how pretty I am!

I'm praying you're having a little girl - but it IS so comforting to know that if God has another sweet little boy in your belly then it's because of a very specific reason and part of His special plan for your amazing family. And you will be QUEEEEEN of the castle!! :)

I am having my first boy and am so excited! :) I am sure no matter what you have you will be over the moon about them. Just remember those kits are only 50% accurate. :)

Okay this is just precious! We recently introduced our second girl into our family, and I only hope they have moments as tender as this photo! How sweet.

I have 3 boys and wouldn't change it for the world Michelle. I have all 4 "men' in my life give me hard time every time I buy another pair of shoes or purse to which I promptly respond I'm the only princess in the house and can buy as many purses and shows as I want to. :)

Such a sweet sight!

I'm still saying, ignore the test completely. For real.

I know that sweet baby will be perfect and loved no matter what it's gender is.

Exactly! As much as I'd like a little gal too, I'd totally be ok with 3 boys--it would be exhausting, but oh, SO much fun! Boys truly are the sweetest....

I know the frustration at finding out #3 is a boy! I felt almost embarrassed letting people know of my disapointment....honestly, Z has been the best! He is just adorable! His brothers love him (most of the time) and they are just best of friends! After his birth I was hesitant to say we were done. I still felt there was a little girl....there is always hope! And even if not boys rock! They are rough on things but so sweet to see them with the soft side to me and how they are so cool to friends!

Will be interested to see how accurate that box really is!

I know just how you feel. I wanted a little girl so badly! When I was at my ultrasound and they told me boy for the 3rd time...I well cried. It is only natural for us women to want to pass down our pearls. I know God is taking care of my boys needs over my own. We have no family around and my 3 boys will always have each other. Plus it is a lot easier and I shop for ME! Just wanted to say all that to you, plus it really helped me to see someone else having the same feelings that I had. But, you still haven't had your ultrasound...

I have two boys. Thought i would have a girl, but now that I have two. wouldn't change a thing. as a female it would be wonderful to pass on all of that female "ness" and advice and bond in that different way to a daughter, but, I love my boys and I think the teen years are going to be much easier for it :)
