How did this happen?

"Leave it to you to turn a family trip in to a episode out of Samson and Son," was my husband's reply when my mom and went "browsing" at one of my favorite spots in Vegas.
I will admit, this scene looked pretty ridiculous.
See what we found then I ask, "can you blame me?"

This I brought back with me from the Antique Mall in Lexington, Virginia.

My mom scored these identical tables for $7.00 each from here.

Lamp, globe, brass container from antique stores in Lexington, Virginia.

I adopted these benches for $3.00.
I'll admit, they're not much to look at now but they will be when I get done with them. (I hope).
Found here.

$5.00 dollar velvet chair. My camera hit a glitch so I couldn't photograph the back but it has lovely nailhead deatailing all over. Found here...again.

These are great finds and at a steal. I contacted this store and it's not the most cost effective option unless you live in driving distance, shipping is expensive. Next time I am in Vegas though I am shopping by...

Haha - about 6 years ago when my mom and I were at out favorite thrift shop in SC, we packed the car full of stuff. I kept humming and dancing to the tune of "Sanford and Son" and she laughed so hard she had to choke back her diet coke.
Thanks for reminding me - and I love your finds! My husbnd feels the same way when I do that on our trips.

I just found a vintage pull-out step stool along the side of the road - score!

Sooo wish we had one of those in the Bay Area! Great source for furniture. Husbands never seem to appreciate these types of treasures until they are completed and pretty :)!

Great Finds! I saw a wooden horse lamp just like that at Goodwill for $5.99. I was so close to getting it, but didn't. I've been kicking myself for it. Yours looks great!!
