Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda.

It's no suprise I'm in love with this Recycled Aluminum Table.
I've only blogged about my obsession half a dozen times.

I first saw it at Pottery Barn, sadly, no longer available.
Way outta my price range and a definite irresponsible purchase anyway.

Then a few other retailers carried similar versions including this lovely from Z Gallerie.

I had heard urban legends that they were popping up all over the country at various discount stores. I visited and called them all. My investigation would always come up cold.

Today I was browsing Tuesday Morning and ran smack in to these:

I'm pretty sure they are the Pottery Barn versions.
What are the chances that there were two?

It's a great markdown but I still couldn't pull the trigger.
I know I will do "Woulda, coulda, shoulda" on myself tomorrow...and then, they'll be gone.

Clever.

In my opinion, if you're an interior designer and you land a gig to decorate and stage model homes than you have it made. Think about it. No wishy-washy clients to deal with, a healthy budget to shop with and it's your own vision and taste all the way.

An afternoon touring model homes is my kind of day. My poor boys get dragged all over town looking at model homes. Kirsten at 6th Street Design School recently visited the Salt Lake Parade of Homes and photographed her favorites. I couldn't stop thinking about the pics so I'm reposting them and living vicariously through her.

Finally, someone figured out what to do with gigantic sloped ceilings!
There's only a few things commonly hung from a ceiling...chandeliers, ceiling fans or drapes.
Bravo to this designer for breaking the rules.

The perfect marriage between upholstery and leather.

Could this vintage cart be any cooler?

Clever.
Clearly this designer has unique vision.

Bangs.

I got a little carried away...15 minutes before church.

Keep the scissors away from me.
