My Saturday Project.

This last Saturday I got ambitious and pulled out my sewing machine from off the top shelf.
My goal was to try and hide this eye sore with a little fabric.
Much better!
When, may I ask, did fabric become so ridiculously expensive? After threading my needle for the eleventh time I looked up to this...my littlest guy sound asleep. I guess General Conference and the hum of a sewing machine will send little ones right to la-la land.

They look great!

Sorry it's taken a while to get back to you-- things have been quite hectic over here.

As for blog sprucing-- I have a friend who kind of spelled it out step by step for me and it worked. I tried for ages to get it right and she knew just what to do. You can find her link here:

Good luck!

If you need more help, just ask. My basic layout is the "rounders" I think, and I just play around with the other colors and things. I also like to add photos to my title through photobucket. If you want to know more about that, I can get you more info.

Hope you had a good confrence sunday. ;D

Lovely! I did that to a bookshelf of mine recently, and talk about a cheap and easy upgrade. I'm trying to convince my husband to let me paint the inside of another bookshelf, but he insists I finish off the other million projects I have going on. Boo.
