Law of attraction?

I've often heard stories of lucky souls finding amazing treasures along side the road. Never before have I ever experienced such luck. This was sitting on the curb with a sign that said, "free". (There was also a handicap potty up for grabs but I passed on that). A new coat of paint and upholstery will do wonders.

I kid you not I have been searching Craigslist for over a year looking for a pair of these chairs. How is it that I walk out of my mom's house and it's staring at me from across the street?

Ever read "The Secret"? I'm now a believer.

Do you have to remove all the nailheads to put on new fabric? Does that ruin the nailheads?

My mom used to peruse Deseret Industries everyday for a "find", then haul it home and spend 6 weeks sanding and varnishing the beauty...you must have her genes...

I had a chair like that once; I painted it cream and recovered it with some pretty, romantic fabric. I sold that one, and I think the next one I come across I would love to paint bright white and put a more modern(maybe geometric ikat or trellis) fabric on it for fun! I love mixing old and new!
Can't wait to see what you do with yours!

I have read the SECRET! it's a marvelous book. The law of attraction, that you attract what the universe has; This is so true!I have this kind of need for a commercial cleaning services (NY-based) last week. I was so desperate that the paint from my art work spilled on our flooring. My friends are coming over for the night, yet I haven't found a way to clean things up. God was so kind, I didn't know that there was indeed a New York janitorial services blocks away from my apartment. Whoo! With a ring, my mess problem was solved!
