Lacquer Trays.

Lacquered trays are all the rage these days.

While at Target I found this Easter tray for $2.50 in the dollar section.

I sprayed it with primer and paint.

My own little lacquered tray.

So smart! I clearly love laquer trays, because I have one of each of these from pearl river, target, and west elm.

I have a few lacquered trays that I purchased from Target after Christmas. They all in the closet, I think I might use a couple in the space that I'm working on.

BTW, I am a new reader and I love your "Wash your hands" sign. Is that a printable you did yourself?

Yeah for cheap finds that you can make your own! It looks fab!

I couldn't find a tray in my price point, so I revamped a Goodwill picture frame.

What type of primer/paint do you use and how do you spray it on? This looks great!

She's a beauty! Did you use a high gloss paint or do some kind of shellac finish? Such a good idea...

I made a faux lucite tray from a cheapo acrylic picture frame recently.

I wish I had found the target tray. I just brought the smaller tray in blue from west elm yesterday for $22.

Great selection. The company I work with also produces lacquer trays, we've been working with the same artisans in Vietnam since the mid-90s. The technique was pioneered in Japan and the Vietnamese have embraced it. You can check out our range at www.nomliving.com

Good stuff!

we are actually thinking of upcycling some of our lacquerware using paint / décourage techniques.

We sell a huge of lacquer trays at www.nomliving.com, different shapes, sizes and colours.. also lacquer boxes. We have been working with the same producer for over 15 years.
